His Highness inspected the work developments and listened to a detailed explanation from the Dubai Future Foundation team about the most prominent design aspects, solutions and engineering methods that were employed to accomplish this milestone.

About the museum

Engineer Shaun Killa designed the museum on an area of 30 thousand square meters and a height of 77 meters to appear as if it floats deliberately, taking advantage of curves that were designed and calculated with great accuracy with the help of one of the science developed programs and design devices, as the museum consists of seven floors and is also distinguished by the absence of columns Inside it, which makes the engineering design a leap in the field of urban engineering.

The museum connects two bridges, one of which is 212 meters long, flowing to the Emirates Towers, and the other with a length of 69 meter and connected to Emirates Towers.

When completed, the museum will become a completely environmentally friendly building, as the building will be fed with 4,000 megawatts of electricity via a solar power plant connected to the museum.

As for the façade of the museum, it consists of 1024 pieces of art on an area of 17,000 square meters overlapping with 14,000 lines of lighting written with inspirational quotes by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid in Arabic calligraphy designed by Emirati artist Matar bin Lahej. The future does not wait. The future can be designed and constructive today. “
